Engine is free to start. Optional Pro and Elite plans lower your fees and raise your limits.
Engine is free to start: fund your account and your agent can trade for you, with no subscription required. Two optional paid plans, Pro and Elite, lower your Perps transaction-fee cap and raise your limits.

A paid plan is never required to trade. Funding your account is what makes it eligible for live trading on any plan, including Free. See Funding your account.
The transaction-fee cap
Perps fees follow the tiered transaction fee, which starts at 0.050% per fill and drops as your 30-day Perps volume grows. Pro and Elite add a cap on top of that ladder. Spot fees follow the Spot rate described on the fees page.
Changing plans
Manage or cancel your plan anytime in Settings. If a paid plan lapses, your account returns to Free limits; your funds, saved agents, and running agent are unaffected.
